Description We are on the hunt for an accomplished Sr. Accountant to become part of our client's dynamic team. Based in Tucson, Arizona, this role is central to managing and analyzing treasury functions, joint ventures, and taxes within our organization. You'll act as a consultant to finance/accounting and corporate management, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. Responsibilities: • Oversee the accounting, forecasting, and financial reporting related to treasury functions and taxes. • Function as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on issues related to treasury and tax within the organization. • Facilitate process changes within the treasury and tax accounting areas. • Ensure the quality of tax and cash data and establish/maintain control processes. • Direct treasury and tax projects, providing guidance to other team members. • Maintain and reconcile ledger accounts, including the preparation of journal entries. • Handle tax compliance functions within the organization, including federal, state, and local taxes. • Prepare or coordinate the preparation of tax returns for federal and state income tax and review such filings. • Collaborate with external tax advisors and auditors to support tax-related projects and audits. • Administer and maintain banking relationships for cash monitoring activities, including the coordination of banking, account activity, and statements. Requirements • Must have proficiency in Account Reconciliation • Balance Sheet Reconciliation skills mandatory • Should be adept at Bank Reconciliations • General Ledger management experience required • Must have the ability to handle Journal Entries • Proficient in Microsoft Excel • Experience with Month End Close necessary • Expertise in using NetSuite is preferred • Familiarity with Oracle software is a must • Knowledge of SAP system is essential • Corporate Treasury experience is mandatory Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
