Sr. Android Engineer

Peloton Interactive, Inc. seeks Sr. Android Engineer in New York, NY:


Job Duties: Work on the Peloton Product Engineering team, building Android applications
including the Google Play Store mobile app, Fire TV app, Studio app, and the flagship Peloton
experience that comes with every Peloton Bike and Tread. Develop customer-facing features in
Kotlin and deliver best-in-class fitness experiences across several different markets.
Responsible for iterating on the process, technology, and communication throughout the team.
Assist and grow the more mid/junior engineers on the team. Collaborate with UX and design
teams on design execution feasibility. Effectively translate Product, UX, and UI requirements
into code implementations Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Peloton offices may be
required.


Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science,
Engineering (any field), or closely related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience
in job offered or in any occupation in a related field, OR Bachelor’s degree, or foreign
equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or closely related quantitative
discipline and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in job offered or in any
occupation in a related field.


Special Skill Requirements: (1) Android; (2) Java; (3) Kotlin; (4) Mobile App Performance; (5)
Observability; (6) A/B testing; (7) Git; (8) Relational Database & SQL; (9) Python; (10)
Algorithms. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable.
Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Peloton offices may be required.


Salary: $179,982.00 - $234,196.00 per annum.
