The Sr Analyst, IT&D Engineering & Architecture – HR Time & Attendance will report to the Sr. Manager, IT Business Systems – HR Time and Attendance, and is responsible for participating in the design, specification, and delivery of HR technology solutions, taking into consideration functionality, data requirements and security, integration, infrastructure, and performance. The specific application in scope for this role is Workforce Software, which is used for Time and Attendance.
The incumbent will work on medium and complex operations support tickets and large complex enhancements. The incumbent knows industry-wide business processes, organizational policies and procedures, timekeeping, and payroll business processes. In addition to production support, this individual will spend most of their time working on projects to continuously enhance current systems and infrastructure and deliver new solutions to optimize HR data, process, and service delivery. This role is a true combination of business analysis and technical expertise, enhancing the partnership between HR, Payroll, and IT to deliver sound solutions.
They are responsible for establishing a strong working relationship with key business functional leaders and extended team members. Using these relationships, they will gain an understanding of functional requirements and contribute to the establishment of technical specifications to achieve those requirements. This individual can translate technical concepts into understandable terms for non-technical stakeholders and, in turn, the ability to translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications that development teams can leverage to build solutions (when they don’t build the solution themselves). They will work with cross-functional teams, project managers, and other stakeholders to deliver quality solutions on time and budget.
