The Sr. Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for managing various accounts payable activities, support the business and FSSC leadership team with a key focus on improvements to existing payable process.

This position reports to the Manager Accounts Payable EMEAI and is part of the EMEAI Finance Shared Services team, and will be located in Mumbai, India. It is a full-time onsite job with 5 days’ work from office.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with different functions of shared services, business stakeholders and key customers and suppliers.

Job Responsibilities:

Processing PO (2-way 3-way match) and Non PO invoices for EMEAI regionsProcessing employee expense reimbursement and making timely paymentsTaking care of weekly payment run and resolving any payment issuesManaging vendor master, vendor reconciliation and responding payable inquiriesResponsible for month-end close activities like accruals and Opex review etc.

The essential requirements of the job include:

Education:

• Minimum Accounting degree, B.Com / M.Com or MBA (Finance)

Work Experience:
• Minimum 5+ years of Accounts Payable experience within an international or domestic finance shared services environment serving India, Europe, APAC or US markets.

Other essential skills:

• Self-starter, and independent contributor with relentless focus on process improvement
•Understanding of US GAAP, VAT and other statutory compliance pertaining to AP function

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

Process transformation projects for accounts payable and have performed UAT
