Job ResponsibilitiesThe Sr Assembler performs a wide variety of electronic or electromechanical assembly tasks in support of developmental requirements in pre-production projects. Works from rough schematics, blueprints and oral instructions to construct developmental assemblies, sub-assemblies and components. May perform rework and quality testing. Work typically includes interaction with design, development and/or manufacturing engineering personnel.
This is a highly skilled assembly position requiring experience assembling and soldering electrical components, systems and assemblies. Experience on components/assemblies, including PCBs and Circuit Boards, are encouraged.
Your specific duties in this role will include:Performing hand soldering of electronic assemblies, components and systems.
Experience with manual die attach including manual dispensing and die handling
Experience with manual and auto wire bonding preferred
Experience performing soldering under microscope
Ability to read and work from Assembly prints and schematics
Minding quality and detailed work, with precision and care
Note: This is a 6-month temporary positionQualifications High school diploma or equivalent, associated degree in technical field preferred. Two+ years in an equipment and/or process technician role with extensive hands-on experience. Knowledge of semiconductor assembly processes including but not limited to die sorting, chip and wire or flip chip die attach, epoxy or solder dispense IPC J-STD-001 Certification Experience with assembly of high-power RF products preferred. Demonstrated ability to carry out defined tasks independently with minimum supervision. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
