Description:
Responsible for performing functions necessary for the management and or administration of residential properties held in various types of managed and directed accounts including, trust, guardianship and estate accounts.
Major Responsibilities:
Manage assigned properties utilizing established policies and procedures
Residential construction management – coordinate and oversee maintenance, repair, renovation and new construction of single-family and condominium units as client needs require.
Buy, sell, lease properties as part of a transaction team directly or with assistance of a realtor
Negotiate listing agreements, purchase and sale agreements, leases and other agreements
Maintain appropriate insurance coverage by way of blanket program or external policies
Prepare annual property reviews, analyze tax assessed values, coordinate triennial valuations, and perform initial and annual property inspections
Coordinate the timely payment of all maintenance, insurance and property tax bills
Build and maintain productive relationships with internal partners and centers of influence
Provide articulate and reasoned communication with colleagues, co-fiduciaries, clients, attorneys, brokers, contractors, third-party managers and other service providers
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a professional residential real estate management or construction environment
Residential construction project management and architectural training a plus
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational, multi-tasking and prioritizing skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
Ability to quickly gain proficiency with the bank’s internal systems
Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus
Salary Range:
$83,100 - 141,300 USDSalary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension), health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, spending accounts and disability), paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
