Sr. Associate, Business Development

Publicis Digital Experience brands include Razorfish, Digitas, Arc Worldwide, Saatchi Saatchi X, Plowshare, 3Share, and the Publicis Commerce Exchange. **Overview** We are currently seeking a Senior Associate, Business Development to work with our growth team for Publicis Groupe’s US government business. Reporting into the Director of Business Development, you will assist in supporting and maintaining the government procurement process at the fundamental level. The right candidate will support the execution of proposal and capture activities within the US government space, primarily focused on federal government but also including state and local opportunities for marketing, communications, education, and outreach campaigns and support activities. The successful candidate will support day-to-day business development activities including the identification, evaluation, and pursuit of new business proposals. Working closely with our team, the candidate will help manage proposal activities by establishing response outlines, manage schedules, review compliance, and provide other support activities across multiple workstreams, projects, and partners. The position will be primarily remote with an expectation for regular in-person meetings/collaboration with the BD team for candidates in the DC metro area. Travel to Publicis locations throughout the U.S. may be required when collaboration amongst agencies is required. **Responsibilities** + Researching and identifying pipeline for government opportunities: This includes researching government procurement websites, tracking government budgets, and analyzing market trends to identify potential business opportunities + Qualifying leads and opportunities: The associate will monitor SAM.gov, GSA Ebuy, or other portals for procurement postings and work with supervisor to assess potential leads and opportunities to determine whether they align with the company's strategic goals + Preparing proposals and bids: The associate will work with cross-functional teams to develop proposals and bids for government opportunities. Will be expected to lead development of proposal outlines, timelines, and support with construction of other RFP components such as resumes + Tracking and reporting on business development activities: The associate will maintain and report on business development activities and progress against established goals and objectives + Work with organization stakeholders to effectively communicate business opportunities and track progress across teams **Qualifications** + Candidate should have 3+ years of professional experience in either marketing, communications, or advertising projects or a business development role, with a preference towards experience with governmental contracts and entities + Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skills + Strong writing, communication, and interpersonal skills + Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment + Prior experience with MS Suite of Office Products required + Prior experience in government contracting or business development preferred + Familiarity with federal procurement contract types and regulations & processes preferred but not required + Prior experience with Salesforce or other CRM preferred **Additional information** The Power of One starts with our people! This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
