Position Title- Sr. Associate/ Sr. Test Analyst

Company: First Data Merchant Services

The team is responsible for managing the overall Merchant Certification process. Review, analyze and coordinate project requirements with business units. Ensure compliance with industry association rules. Coordinate with network, operational and application point of contacts to ensure necessary equipment ordered, installed and configuration setups are complete. Schedule, review and validate testing results with client (merchant, vendor and TPP).

Job Description

Tier 2 support for a team of POS Certification Analysts (PCAs) that provide certification and developmental support to Point-of-Sale (POS) product providers and payment gateways. Support Team Managers with work-streams, schedules, and priorities for the PCAs based on direction and input from stakeholders, management, and clients. Ensure testing tools and systems are maintained in order to facilitate the most efficient execution of certification efforts.

Lead a team of direct reports that execute MSR, EMV/Chip, API and Gateway certifications.
Manage necessary network/system diagnostics, transaction research, and endpoint issues in both Test and Production systems.
Work with team managers to define a Certification roadmap that supports the needs and timelines according to major Acquirer client’s priorities.
Assist Team managers with day-to-day employee schedules to ensure appropriate team coverage for assigned projects.
Support a team of 5-10 members on troubleshooting back-office process issues.
Maintain tools, licenses, and connections that support the Certification Team’s needs.
Schedule certification and support activities to ensure objectives are achieved.
Escalate issues to Team Managers and work with respective client managers to manage issue resolution.

Qualifications

5+ years’ experience with API and Level 3 EMV/Chipcard Point of Sale (POS) certifications, such as Tier 3 tech support, and Transaction processing back-office operations.
3+ years of team leadership experience in payments systems and processing solutions management with relevant knowledge of acquirer processing and network business.
Experience working with technologies such as Windows, Unix, Linux, SQL, Visual Basic, VBScripts, Mainframes.
Prior experience with ISO 8583 transaction processing specifications, online payment, risk management, or point-of-sale transactions
Ability to work with cross-functional teams within a multi-region matrix organization and with business partners on key tactical programs.
Strong teamwork skills and excellent collaboration skills with the ability to collaborate with inter-disciplinary groups.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Results driven and flexible.

General Requirement

Location – (Client Office in Alpharetta, GA – No remote work)

Hours of position- 9AM EST to 6PM EST

Some after hours/late night work may be required for supporting client product launches.

Pay Rate Range - $75k to $85k.
