Job Summary

We are seeking a Lead Quality Engineer with 8 to 12 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in Cucumber Test Complete JavaScript Jenkins Scrum Java TestNG Jira Selenium and Maven. Experience in the Cards and Payments domain is a plus. This hybrid role requires a proactive individual who can ensure the highest quality standards in our software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Lead the quality assurance efforts for various projects ensuring that all deliverables meet the highest standards.Basic knowledge in API and API Automation .Oversee the development and execution of test plans test cases and test scripts using tools like Cucumber Test Complete and Selenium.Provide guidance and mentorship to junior QA engineers fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers product managers and business analysts to understand requirements and define test strategies.Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks using Java TestNG and Maven to streamline the testing process.Utilize Jenkins for continuous integration and continuous deployment ensuring that all code changes are automatically tested and deployed.Participate in Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning daily stand-ups and retrospectives to ensure alignment and progress towards project goals.Manage and track defects using Jira ensuring that all issues are documented prioritized and resolved in a timely manner.Conduct performance and load testing to ensure that applications can handle expected user loads and perform optimally.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in quality assurance and software testing.Communicate effectively with stakeholders providing regular updates on testing progress issues and risks.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards particularly in the Cards and Payments domain.Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies driving innovation and efficiency.

Qualifications

Demonstrate expertise in Cucumber Test Complete JavaScript Jenkins Scrum Java TestNG Jira Selenium and Maven.Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.Show proficiency in automated testing frameworks and continuous integration tools.Possess excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model.Experience in the Cards and Payments domain is a plus.

Certifications Required

Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) ISTQB Certified Tester Selenium Certification
