Job Summary
We are seeking a Lead Quality Engineer with 6 to 9 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Jenkins Scrum ALM Worksoft Certify Java Jira Maven and PL/SQL with a strong background in the Utilities domain. This hybrid role requires a proactive individual who can ensure the highest quality standards in our projects.
Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of comprehensive test strategies and plans to ensure high-quality software delivery.Oversee the implementation of automated testing frameworks using tools such as Jenkins Worksoft and Maven.Provide guidance and support to the QA team in the adoption of Agile methodologies specifically Scrum.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of testing processes within the software development lifecycle.Manage and maintain test environments ensuring they are up-to-date and aligned with project requirements.Conduct thorough reviews of test cases scripts and results to identify and address any issues or discrepancies.Utilize ALM and Jira for test management defect tracking and reporting to ensure transparency and accountability.Develop and maintain test scripts in Java and PL/SQL to validate system functionality and performance.Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in quality assurance and testing.Provide regular updates and reports on testing progress risks and issues to stakeholders.Mentor and train junior QA team members fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.Drive the adoption of new testing tools and technologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the QA process.Collaborate with the development team to identify and resolve defects ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software.Qualifications
Possess strong technical skills in Jenkins Scrum ALM Worksoft Java Jira Maven and PL/SQL.Demonstrate extensive experience in the Utilities domain.Exhibit excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Show proficiency in developing and executing test strategies and plans.Have a proven track record of managing and maintaining test environments.Display strong communication and collaboration skills.Be adept at mentoring and training junior team members.Certifications Required
