This role works is in close collaboration with development, cyber security and product teams. **YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSBILITIES** The primary responsibilities of this role,Sr. Automation Engineer, are to: + Lead efforts to strategize and advance the AWS infrastructure automation, including relevant integrated development toolsets; + Integrate JFrog Artifactory with CI/CD pipelines to automate artifact management workflows and streamline software delivery; + Collaborate with product team members and stakeholders to deliver on the agreed timelines; + Create new scripts and programs to remove manual intervention in the build process; + Analyze the current procedures and look for ways to innovate with Automation; + Research new ways to effectively address third-party software usage; + Address monthly updates, vulnerability scans and implement fixes; + Participate in sprints to achieve tasks; + Assist in research of future builds and process updates; + Support other OS team members with legacy systems on a time-to-time basis; + Communicate progress being made towards your assigned goals; + Support VnV testing by fixing assigned incident tickets; + Problem solve and troubleshoot automation issues; + The primary location for this role isIndianola, PA. + Visa sponsorship may be offered for this role. **WHO YOU ARE** Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following: Required Qualifications: + Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree and at least 5+ years of related experience; + Strong understanding of software development methodologies (e.g. Agile, Waterfall); + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders; + Experience with both Windows and Linux is preferred; + Strong knowledge of C#, C++, Powershell, Yaml and Batch languages; + Hands on experience with JFrog Artifactory, including repository management and integration with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub actions; + Strong knowledge of Windows systems is a must (Windows 7/10/11/Server); Preferred Qualifications: + Experience with Ansible/AWS and Auto IT/Terraform.
