Job Summary
We are seeking a Business Analyst - Reporting Documentation Specialist with 7 to 11 years of experience in Business & System Analysis Business Analysis & Planning and Business acumen. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Property & Casualty Insurance. This hybrid role requires a proactive individual who can bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions ensuring that our projects align with company goals and deliver value to our clients.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive business and system analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.Develop detailed business analysis plans outlining project scope objectives and deliverables.Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements ensuring alignment with company goals.Analyze and interpret complex data to provide actionable insights and recommendations.Create and maintain detailed documentation including business requirements process flows and use cases.Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to validate requirements and obtain approvals.Work closely with technical teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.Ensure that solutions meet business needs and requirements and are delivered on time and within budget.Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders highlighting any risks or issues.Conduct user acceptance testing to ensure that solutions meet the defined requirements and are fit for purpose.Provide training and support to end-users ensuring a smooth transition to new systems and processes.Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices and apply this knowledge to improve business analysis processes.Contribute to the continuous improvement of business analysis methodologies and tools.Qualifications
Possess a strong understanding of Property & Casualty Insurance with the ability to apply this knowledge to business analysis.Demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.Show proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques including process modeling requirements gathering and data analysis.Have experience in developing detailed business analysis plans and documentation.Display the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Demonstrate a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement and driving change.Possess strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.Show a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.Have experience in conducting user acceptance testing and providing training and support to end-users.Exhibit a strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality documentation.Demonstrate the ability to work in a hybrid work model balancing remote and in-office work effectively.Show a commitment to delivering value to clients and contributing to the overall success of the company.The Cognizant community:
