As a Sr. Business/Product Analyst on our Personal Lines IT team, you will serve as a primary point of contact for stakeholders from IT, Underwriting, Operations, Product applications and Finance within our North America personal lines business for feature development, scope management, enhancements, issue identification, escalation, and resolution related to new and existing Personal Lines platforms. You will closely align with business stakeholders to manage the business process design and documentation for new products; enhancements and work with other analysts to translate high level business requirements into functional features and stories. As you engage with your stakeholders, you will effectively manage these initiatives leveraging Agile project delivery methodologies.

In this role, you will:

Actively lead or participate in status meetings, requirements gathering and design sessions, user story refinements, implementation planning sessions, business reviews, defect triage prioritization, and effectively multi-task across multiple projects concurrently Clarify direction and business expectations as issues/questions arise Manage to project deadlines by Identifying tradeoffs when new features or changes are introduced; provide recommendation to manage and prioritize the product backlog Prioritize defects and label defects required for release, identifying workarounds, and managing changes to such specifications in accordance with Chubb and/or industry standards and processes.  Document and manage the lifecycle of Epics, Features, User Journey(s) and Stories. May coordinate and mentor junior staff members for this process. Partner with developers to ensure specifications are understood, followed, and implemented properly. Lead outreach to business stakeholders to ensure awareness and communicate changes, provide demos/training as needed Participate in UAT and lead investigations of any issues that rise within UAT, engaging appropriate support teams (IT, Operational, Vendor) for resolution; keep all parties engaged in such issue resolution apprised of status Work closely with UX designers to design user experience for all new pages and new functionality inclusive of error handling Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field; equivalent work experience can suffice for educationMinimum 7 years of relevant technical or business work experienceDemonstrate clear understanding of business process disciplines  Communicate appropriately with many levels, from processors to senior management; escalate problems and questions when neededExperience integrating business needs with technology capabilitiesFundamental understanding of APIs is desired Work well with onsite and remote resourcesKnowledge of the insurance industry is required; Personal Lines insurance experience is strongly desiredAbility to expose design criteria through detail questions and propose alternate solutions options is critical

In Jersey City, NJ the pay range for the role is $101,000 to $172,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors.
