Sr. Business Intelligence Engineer, EU FBA
The Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) Analytics team is looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer to spearhead a new exciting segment and support worldwide initiatives to increase revenues and merchants satisfaction from high-price items, such as smartphones, laptops, jewelry, and more. In this role you will contribute from an analytics standpoint to end-to-end analysis: from opportunities/problem identification, to scoping of new ideas and expected financial entitlement, to data engineering, effective reporting and data visualization mechanisms. In the process you'll cooperate with stakeholders worldwide, from multiple business areas such as Business Intelligence, Program Management, Sales, Operations Manager, etc. You will be exposed to a wide and senior audience, and to the opportunity to develop a comprehensive understanding of our business.

Key job responsibilities
As a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer, you will work on:
• Reporting: Own and develop Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews and Data Visualizations for topline metrics, programs, and goals.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with various departments including Seller Operations, Worldwide FBA teams, and Account Managers to develop scalable frameworks and metrics.
• Strategic Analysis: Conduct proactive analysis on share of business, store gaps, selection, pricing, and offer competitiveness to help shape the future of the high ASP segment.
• Data Management: Create and optimize data tables, develop efficient data pipelines, and manage complex data operations involving multiple datasets.
• Mentoring: You will play a key role within the analytics team too, proactively sharing your learning and successes, having a chance to mentor more junior employees, and strive in a cohesive group of Business Intelligence Engineers.


About the team
Our team is responsible for the growth of the high-Average Selling Price (ASP) segment within Amazon's Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) program. FBA is a service that allows sellers to store their products in Amazon's fulfillment centers, and Amazon then picks, packs, ships, and provides customer service for these items.
The key initiatives we focus on include optimizing the supply chain, preventing product defects, engaging with sellers to improve their performance, and managing customer returns for high-value ASP products like smartphones, laptops, jewelry, and more. By supporting these critical areas, we aim to drive growth and profitability for both Amazon and the third-party sellers utilizing the FBA program.
