The Enterprise Systems team manages the development, use, and support of Enterprise Applications - including the internal use of Smartsheet. Smartsheet is looking for an experienced Principal Business Systems Analyst to drive quality, efficiency and customer satisfaction within our Enterprise Systems team.
Join our Enterprise Systems team as a Senior Business Systems Analyst, where you'll be a key driver of efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction. As an expert on our Enterprise Systems supporting our Enterprise Integrations, you'll convert business requirements into solutions and directly interface with business owners to fulfill their needs. We're looking for a strong communicator, detail-oriented professional who thrives on making an impact for our internal customers.
You Will:
Lead the identification, analysis, prioritization, and implementation of process improvements using current and future Enterprise Systems integrations.
Identify technical requirements for building upon existing or creating new integrations, collaborating with development and system architecture teams.
Evaluate business goals against system capabilities, identify gaps, and propose and implement gap solutions.
Ensure traceability of requirements from elicitation to implementation, maintain clear documentation and mapping to ensure alignment of solutions with business needs.
Establish system roadmaps aligning with company goals.
Conduct system evaluations and prepare buy versus build analysis.
Establish technical guidelines and best practices around system constraints.
Partner with Product Owners and QA Engineers to scope backlog items and design testing for new solutions.
Ensure SOX compliance and perform and document IT General Controls Testing.
Provide functional expertise to users of Enterprise Financial Systems.
Use advanced system configuration and automation to achieve business requirements.
You Have:
8+ years of relevant experience in IT or Financial systems configuration.
Experience with projects that have created technical system integrations in a multi-company/multi-national environment.
Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical subjects to non-technical users.
Knowledge of the following systems a plus (NetSuite, Salesforce, Stripe, Snowflake).
Experience working in an IT environment on both Agile and Waterfall projects.
Advanced proficiency in enterprise systems, data analysis, and reporting.
Experience defining technical requirements for scalable, business critical applications and ETL processes.
Experience writing technical specifications for iPaaS solutions.
Knowledge of database design, modeling, and performance optimization.
Proficiency in diagramming tools of Enterprise Systems such as ERPs and CRMs.
