**Description** **Ready for Your Next Career Challenge?** **Join Leidos National Security Sector as a Senior Buyer!** **Location:** Aiea, Hawaii (Relocation assistance available) **Mission:** Support Asia Pacific Strategic Sourcing federal procurement missions **Role Highlights:** + Procure IT hardware, maintenance/support materials, data, goods/services, and components + Negotiate favorable prices and terms for higher complexity procurements + Administer purchase orders, maintain files, and manage supplier relationships + Create solicitations, support proposals, and conduct price/cost analysis + Complete high-risk procurements and complex supplier negotiations + Confer with suppliers to determine cost-effective solutions + Recommend procurement process improvements + Mentor and support peers **Basic Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of related experience (additional relevant experience, training, or certification may be accepted in lieu of a degree) + Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations + Experience buying tangible goods + Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel **Preferred Qualifications:** + CostPoint experience + Terms and Conditions negotiation experience + Strong oral and written communication skills + Excellent customer service mentality + Ability to multi-task with strong organizational and attention to detail skills **Why Leidos?** At Leidos, we deliver innovative solutions through the efforts of our diverse and talented people who are dedicated to our customers’ success.
