The Sr. Capital Risk Analyst, as part of the second line capital risk function, is the lead analyst to support independent review and challenge of the CCAR stress testing and capital planning processes and outcomes with in-depth analytical rigor. This role will collaborate with various risk and business functions including the Treasury Capital Management team.
Responsibilities
Contribute to robust second line independent review and challenge for the CCAR and capital planning processes by leveraging corporate policies, first line procedure and process documentation, applicable rules and regulations, first and second line assessments, and regulatory exam outcomes.Support the review and challenge of capital interpretation and calculations, including new or revised regulations and supervisory guidance, to ensure accuracy, sustainability and regulatory and policy compliance.Document review and challenge outcomes, challenges of enterprise risk identification with connectivity to scenario design, and process outcomes at a high level of detail.Develop and produce reports and presentation materials for regulatory, management, executive level meetings.Basic Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field3+ years of experience in capital planning/stress testing, risk management, finance, audit, or related function in the financial industryPreferred Qualifications
Direct experience in CCAR or capital planning at a large ($100 B+) financial institution strongly preferredMaster’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related fieldWorking knowledge of US regulatory capital framework, rules, and guidelinesBroad understanding of commercial bank’s balance sheet, operations, products, financials, risk drivers, risk management framework, and regulatory reportingExcellent oral and written communication skillsExperience designing reports and presentations for senior management#LI-HYBRID
