This role will identify, prioritize and activate offline 3P retail partnerships from strategy to implementation, to drive consumer adoption of Smart Eyewear. You will lead 3P retail partner identification and negotiations. You will collaborate with product, go-to-market, and external partners to ensure branding and product experience raises the bar for customers. This visible, cross-functional role requires both strategic thinking (Think Big) and the ability to quickly Deliver Results and manage details. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment within an emerging industry, and able to quickly formulate plans backed by data. We are looking to hire an exceptionally talented and highly driven leader to establish offline channels that would significantly contribute to customer acquisition goals.
Key job responsibilities
- Develop and execute offline channel strategy that may include general merchandising channels, optical trade channels and Amazon owned offline stores. to drive Smart Eyewear adoption.
- Define and execute frameworks, policies and processes for channel selection, channel dimensioning, onboarding, commercial and business engagement terms, channel engagement etc. Own marketing and merchandizing plans for channel.
- Work extensively with other Amazon teams to identify opportunities for synergy and leverage existing Amazon assets.
- Work with regional and zonal sales teams to execute the channel rollouts.
- Drive programs to enhance channel productivity, quality of customer acquisition, and lower cost of acquisition.
- Establish a feedback loop with leadership teams on Channel and customer feedback and ensure product & process improvements to continuously enhance customer experience.
- Influence cross-functional internal and/or external senior leadership on key business decisions.
- Present high quality documents that articulate ideas and decisions to leaders.
- Stay abreast of new tools, trends, and best practices in channel management; test and evaluate their efficacy in improving scale or effectiveness.
