This position oversees the delivery of short-term services to families with children and adolescents who are referred by the Rockland County Mobile Crisis Response Team. This team uses short-term, evidence-based crisis resolution services with families to deescalate crisis situations, assess and locate appropriate ongoing services, and keep a warm “hands-on” until successful transfer of care has occurred. This position oversees licensed and peer counseling staff. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES: + Flexible availability + Ability to supervise clinical and peer professional staff + Ability to creatively assess the needs of families and youth in crisis + Ability to provide effective, short-term interventions + Facilitated referral to care with confirmatory follow-up QUALIFICATIONS: + LCSW preferred + Supervisory experience preferred + 3-5 years clinical experience with youth and families preferred + Experience working with diverse families and communities + Ability to supervise professional interns + Evenings and weekends may be necessary ALL POSITIONS ARE SUBJECT TO A CRIMINAL BACKGROUND, FINGERPRINTING AND MOTOR VEHICLE REPORT CHECK.
