Sr. Civil Engineer
As a Senior Engineer in the Civil Group focusing on substation and transmission engineering, you will manage your own portfolio of projects, ranging from new transmission lines and upgrades to pole replacements. This role involves both office and field work, providing a comprehensive view of projects from initial planning through to construction.

Daily Responsibilities
1. Project Management
- Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, including new transmission lines, transmission upgrades, and pole replacements.
- Manage projects with budgets under $2 million, handling all aspects from finance to scheduling.
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget, coordinating with EHV and field crews.

2. Technical Leadership
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the transmission team, leading projects and providing technical guidance.
- Conduct technical design and analysis for substation and transmission projects.
- Perform AC/DC studies and grounding studies as needed.

3. Collaboration and Coordination
- Work closely with EHV groups and capital project programs.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders, including field crews, to ensure smooth project execution.
- Lead team meetings and manage communication between different departments.

4. Comprehensive Project Oversight
- Manage projects from initial planning through the design phase, permitting, and construction.
- Oversee the entire project lifecycle, ensuring all phases are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Handle both the technical and administrative aspects of projects, providing a well-rounded approach to project management.
