We are looking for an Claims Operations Manager to join our Great American Risk Solutions division in our Cincinnati, OH office. This position will be remote in the Cincinnati area.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

Responsible for the overall planning, development, direction, and administration of activities within the Claim Operations team.

Accountable for the processing of claim file information on large volume claims for one or more lines.

Directs Claims staff assistance on more complex claims including claims with coverage questions or recovery potential.

Recommends opportunities to streamline claims procedures, enhance efficiency, and reduce costs.

Responsible for performance and coaching of staff and decisions regarding talent selection, development, and performance management. Plans and ensures that the team meets budget and performance targets.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

High School Diploma (Associate degree preferred)

Generally, a minimum of 8 or more years of experience in claim operations or customer service, including a minimum of 4 or more years leadership experience.

Typically manages 2 or more reports. Contributes to the development of strategies, performance targets, and policies and procedures. Serves as expert on local, state, and federal insurance-related policies.

$84,000.00 -$100,000.00
