Sr. Clinic Intake Specialist - Veterans Evaluation Services

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Perform all job functions in compliance with HIPAA policies and adhere to local and externally relevant health and safety laws and policies.

- Gather and provide necessary information to providers; may include gathering forms, documents, and vital signs necessary to the evaluation.

- Provide a high level of customer service by greeting and directing all visitors, answering inquiries, confirming contact and appointment information, and otherwise facilitating a positive experience.

- Document all actions taken and other pertinent information as it relates to veteran and provider interaction.

- Clean exam rooms between each appointment and otherwise maintain stock and cleanliness of clinic throughout the day.

- Implement direction and serve as the primary point of contact for Clinic Support Specialist, Supervisor, Regional Clinic Manager, and/or Regional Clinic Director in B&M and other exam locations.

- Offer ongoing experience-based support to Clinic Intake Specialists.

- Serve as primary POC for per diem locations in assigned state.

- Track per diem locations and manage per diem scheduling needs.

- Maintain Clinic availability calendar on an on-going basis.

- Assist with training new hires.

- Travel within region as required.

- Ability to work onsite in the Newport News, VA clinic required
- Weekend availability required
- Valid Drivers License required
- The ability to travel locally up to 20% of the time for work purposes Minimum Requirements

- High School Diploma or GED.

- Minimum 6 months VES Clinic experience required.

- 2-4 years of related experience.
