What Clinical Operations contributes to Cardinal Health

Clinical Operations is responsible for supporting the timely and quality sale, installation and monitoring of Cardinal Health products and services may also provide product and service education to facilitate technology adoption and workflow change management.

Demonstrates extensive knowledge and understanding of relevant clinical operations, products and servicesInfluences customer decision to purchase new products and servicesLeads the post-sales assessment, design, implementation and monitoring of new products and services in multi-site and/or complex environmentsDevelops, plans, and manages customer training programs in multi-site and/or complex environmentsServes as lead consultant and resource to internal and external customers in multi-site and/or complex environmentsMentors internal staff regarding best demonstrated practicesSignificantly influences customer acceptance and utilization of new products and services in multi-site and/or complex environmentsInitiates discussion to obtain in-depth customer feedback for product and service improvement opportunities

Responsibilities

Grow Cardinal Health Brand In and Out of Channel:Increase product penetration during program/pack reviews and surgical glove engagementsAccelerate Cardinal Health Brand through speaking engagements, clinical webinars/articles, and the development of CE courses and clinical sales toolsSupport Customers Clinically to Drive Competitive Differentiation:Conduct state of the art Live/Virtual trainings for external/internal customers and provide relevant clinical knowledge tools/supportActive participation in program reviews to promote efficiencies, process improvements, safety standards and identify savingsPremium Growth at Top Accounts:Participate in customer facing clinical activities, quarterly business reviews when possible, and assist in identifying pipeline gapsOffer clinical support in assigned/targeted strategic accounts to promote and drive growth opportunities, clinically partner and support large scale evaluations/implementationsDrive Profitable Growth:Clinically support new product launchesIncrease and improve product mix and profitability with program/pack reviewsParticipate in regional activities

Qualifications

Willingness and ability to travel - expect 80% of the timeBachelor’s degree preferredCurrent RN license preferred6-8 years of experience in related fieldIntraoperative nursing experience preferredOperating room management experience preferredKnowledge of surgical pack and kitting business preferredMust provide proof of and maintain current immunizations and obtain additional immunizations appropriate for the facility which enables access to customer sites to perform essential job functions. Proofs must include: Hepatitis B, Influenza (current year), MMR (mumps, measles, rubella), Varicella (chicken pox) Annual TB/PPD (skin test), Tetanus/Diphtheria/PertussisDemonstrated Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Display excellent verbal and written communication skills; to include subject matter expertise with webinars, podcasts, and with clinical articles

Anticipated salary Range: $103,500 - $147,900

** The salary range listed is an estimate. Pay at Cardinal Health is determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s geographical location, relevant education, experience and skills and an evaluation of internal pay equity.
