About the Role:

We are looking for individuals across the industry to add their passion and experience in helping customers realize better security outcomes with log management and advanced data analytics.

As a Sr. Cloud Infrastructure Engineer focusing on infrastructure architecture on the LogScale professional services team, you’ll spearhead key efforts and become a trusted advisor to customers by assisting customers to deploy Falcon LogScale and Next-Gen SIEM, resolving technical questions, demonstrating Falcon LogScale and Next-Gen SIEM capabilities, and laying out a technical vision of Falcon LogScale and Next-Gen SIEM roadmap for customers to follow. Working alongside Falcon Next-Gen SIEM and LogScale engineers and other cross functional teams, you’ll be a critical part of operationalizing LogScale within customer environments. You’ll work with the customer as they discover what Falcon Next-Gen SIEM and LogScale can do for them, help expand their use cases, and provide feedback timely to the Falcon Next-Gen SIEM and LogScale Product Management teams. Simultaneously you’ll develop internal relationships to partner with key stakeholders to influence product enhancements that will meet customer needs.

We’re looking for a colleague with a great passion for taking care of customers and their challenges combined with well-rounded technical, analytical, and customer service skills. We want someone who appreciates the importance of teamwork but will also benefit from your proactive approach to solving challenges and helping external and internal parties. The position is remote-friendly within the United States with the opportunity for periodic travel onsite with customers. Fluency in English is required along with strong technical writing skills.

Am I a Sr. Cloud Infrastructure Engineer?
Are you well-versed with resourcing, delivering, securing and optimizing containerized applications running in Cloud or self-hosted environments, developing automation scripts for infrastructure as code (IaC), and applying DevOps and distributed data storage concepts?

Do you have at least three years of experience working with relevant cloud and infrastructure security tools such as SIEMs/log management platforms, application/cloud vulnerability tools, and workload security?

Do you want to work with cutting edge technology, enjoy interfacing with customers, and like collaborating with a team of industry experts?

What You'll Do:

Act as the primary point of contact for Falcon LogScale deployments from project kickoff to technical implementation and through project closure

Guide and assist customers in building out complex, resilient and high performing application clusters in public and private cloud/on-prem environments

Assist customer with data onboarding tasks like 3rd party tool audit/logging policy configurations, and log transport methodology

Provide guidance with log analysis leveraging search queries based on raw log data, parsing and dashboard creation

Provide knowledge transfer of Falcon LogScale to our customers​

 

What You'll Need:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field and five years of experience in systems engineering or an equivalent combination of education and work experience

Experience implementing and managing containerized applications using Kubernetes (any flavor) Docker, and Helm within GCP, Azure and/or AWS

Experience delivering, managing and upgrading managed applications in GCP, Azure and/or AWS environments with high throughput and availability requirements, including usage of CI/CD tools

Experience and comfort with management and implementation of Linux server platforms

Experience with developing and implementing IaC tools and code using tools such as Terraform, Pulimi or Crossplane

Highly comfortable in creating, implementing and troubleshooting Python, go and Bash scripts within integration and automation use cases

Experience with REST API, GraphQL and API microservices

Intermediate knowledge of security protocols and products for identity management and access such as OAuth, Okta, SAML, Windows Auth and Active Directory

Experience using logs and metrics to identify the root cause of production incidents

Experience managing technical deployments, tracking time, and running projects from kickoff to closure

Experience with Agile, SCRUM, Kanban and other development lifecycles

Knowledge of IT environments, including: directory services, authentication, networking, data storage

Understanding of log management use cases around security, observability, DevOps, IT ops, and/or business operations

Strong problem-solving, written and oral communication skills in English

Bonus Points:

Five years of professional DevOps experience providing support for troubleshooting, recovery and root cause analysis

Experience developing visualizations for security event-related data using Grafana, PowerBI, Elastic, etc.

Experience with implementing and using Kafka

Experience working with pre-sales teams on technical scoping and requirements gathering, and with post-sales handoffs

Experience translating your knowledge of customer requirements and experiences into feedback for product and engineering teams​

CrowdStrike, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary range for this position in the U.S. is $95,000 - $155,000 per year + variable/incentive compensation + equity + benefits. A candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location.
