Sr. Compensation Analyst

Superior is currently seeking a Sr. Compensation Analyst to join our team in Houston, TX (On-Site 4 days).

Duties and Responsibilities:

Work collaboratively with service lines to develop and implement competitive pay structures. Conduct ongoing market and trend analysis of compensation programs to ensure consistent and equitable administration of compensation plans and recommend changes to program designs as needed. Provide compensation analysis, data modeling, forecasts, reports, and presentations as needed senior management and internal partners, and provide recommendations for compensation programs. Provide advice to business leaders and HR Partners on compensation related issues based upon policy, internal equity and market data. Develop and prepare employee compensation communications, materials and managerial guides for the implementation of various compensation projects. Assist in compiling global market data as part of the annual merit and pay structure evaluation process to recommend individual and structural increases. Identifies compensation processes and is a critical part of the development of salary administration guidelines and compensation procedures. Works closely with HRIS Implementation team for all compensation related matters. Ensure accuracy of salary data in HRIS system. Maintains and run periodic as well as ad-hoc reports on compensation related data from the HRIS system. Conduct periodic audits to ensure accuracy of data. Respond to data requests, using Excel and/or other systems analyze data Coordinates participation in annual salary surveys; evaluate market data to ensure the competitiveness of total compensation structures. Model and forecast cost of incentive programs Serve as a point of contact for administration service providers (for LTIP, compensation software, etc.) Assists in plan design of short-term and long-term incentives. Partner effectively and proactively with Human Resources, Legal, Tax, Payroll and Accounting to anticipate, implement and/or address incentive compensation initiatives/matters Administers all employee incentive plans in the various jurisdictions Special projects; other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Technical Skills: Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills required.  Attention to detail critical.  Advanced computer proficiency in all MS Software including Excel, Power Point and Word required.  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. 

Behavioral Skills:  Ability to develop and maintain highly effective relationships at all levels of employees both internally and externally. Must be a self-started and exhibit high levels of initiative.  Experience in partnering across all human resources functions, as well as legal and finance. Demonstration of behaviors that support established company values (integrity, respect, safety, fair play, citizenship).

 Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, HR management, finance or other related field required. Three to five years of experience in compensation program design/administration, incentive compensation design/administration and/or financial analysis (preferred)
