Sr. Compensation Analyst

The Sr. Analyst position will support the Compensation function will lead all data analysis and validation for global compensation. This role is integral to the development and execution of our compensation strategies and involves extensive data analysis to support decision-making processes. The successful candidate will play a critical role in developing, implementing, and administering our compensation programs to ensure they are fair, competitive, and aligned with our business objectives.
**Job Functions:**
+ Analyze compensation trends and practices to develop and implement salary structures and pay scales and support the development and administration of incentive and bonus programs.
+ Collect, organize and analyze large sets of data related to employee compensation and benefits. Support compensation data initiatives to define, standardize, cleanse and map HR data, including to other systems for use in business processes.
+ Generate insights and reports from data analysis to support compensation initiatives.
+ Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all analysis and reports and support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and data.
+ Collaborate with HRIS and other HR partners to ensure accurate and timely compensation data reporting and analysis.
+ Prepare compensation reports and presentations to provide insights into employee compensation trends and help inform strategic decision-making.
+ Act as project lead for compensation related initiatives.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
+ Adheres to Corporate policies and procedures, including Code of Conduct, Audit Procedures and any control related responsibility for financial data entered, stored, or reported via business systems within employee’s control (1 st not exhaustive).
**Qualifications:**
+ BS or BA degree in Business Administration, Finance, HR or related field
+ 5+ years of experience in HR, compensation, finance and reporting.
**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:**
+ Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable recommendations. Proficiency in data analysis tools and HRIS systems.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to present information clearly and effectively to various audiences, including senior management.
+ Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and develop innovative solutions.
+ Experience using Human Resources Management Systems (Oracle HCM strongly preferred).
+ Experience extracting and manipulating data from large enterprise data platforms and/or HR systems.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and experience with HRIS and compensation software.
+ Experience making cohesive reports and structuring data from disparate sources, able to provide creative data visualization, storytelling and to message complex subject matter.
+ Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy of results, especially in times of rapid turn-around needs.
+ Demonstrated judgment and discretion when dealing with highly sensitive people data.
+ Passion for continuous learning and keeping up to date with the latest trends and best practices
Physical Demands: Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
Travel: No or very little travel likely
Work Conditions: Work in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.
This position is classified as “in-office.” As an in-office role, it requires employees to work from a designated Carnival office in South Florida Tuesday through Thursday each week. Employees may work from their homes on Mondays and Fridays. Candidates must be located in (or willing to relocate to) the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area.
