Sr. Compensation Analyst
Job Description

TEAM MEMBER WILL BE REQUIRED TO WORK ONSITE FOUR DAYS A WEEK AT OUR RALEIGH, NC HQ.

Overview

The Sr. Compensation Analyst is responsible for providing guidance and consultation to DC HR Managers regarding compensation programs and pay strategy.  He/she assists in the planning & development, implementation, and administration of Distribution Center compensation programs as well as developing alternative programs to help attract, retain and engage the employees.  The Sr. Analyst will advise HRM’s on compensation topics including job levelling, base pay administration including step structures, new hire and promotional compensation, recognition, short and long-term incentive plans, retention and other compensation programs. 


Key Responsibilities:

Oversee, document, and administer DC special pay programsConduct frequent market pricing and compensation analysis for Supply Chain roles to ensure pay levels adequately reflect market practices.  Manage Tier updates in Workday with partners.  Communicate annual salary structure/ step structure changes.Conduct competitive pay analysis and make recommendations for individuals or groups.  Review offers; develop compensation packages for internal moves and external hires.Evaluate new and updated jobs; analyze job responsibilities and requirements and recommend internal grade, title and exemptions status.  Ensure accurate job descriptions for positions in DC’s.Partner with Supply Chain finance for projections and actual cost of pay programs.Perform base pay and incentive forecasting to support financial planning for Supply Chain.Administer DC long term incentive programs in calculations, reporting & communicationsSupport the annual compensation review process for Supply Chain in planning, communications, reporting and analysis.Perform bi-weekly Workday DC Compensation data audits.Assist HRM’s and Recruiters with general compensation related issues and questions.Conduct audits to ensure internal equity and compliance with federal, state and local regulations.Develop clear and concise communications of compensation programs for leadership and HRM’s.  Deliver program content to key stakeholders, to educate on program content, strategies and policy/process.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in HR, Finance or related field3-5 years’ experience in Compensation, preferably supporting Distribution Centers/Logistics/Supply Chain operationsDemonstrated experience with market pricing systems and delivering internal and external compensation analysisUnderstanding of Supply Chain business strategies, objectives and key performance metrics for incentive compensationKnowledge and experience with state and federal labor laws and regulations as it relates to compensationAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel requiredStrong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentAbility to recognize and maintain confidentialityStrong organizational skills and attention to detailSelf-motivated and proactive
