The Sr. Construction Startup Project Manager will lead a cross functional team and coordinate the resources required to launch new and complex projects with the goals of achieving timelines, staying within budget, and driving standardization within our network. The Project Manager will manage medium to large capital projects with aggressive schedule commitments. This role will lead and coordinate schedule of multiple vendors at the same time, as well as interface at all levels of the organization.
To be considered candidate MUST have previous project management experience in supply chain new warehouse construction startup in the following areas:
Project Management and Implementation:
Full Lifecycle Management: Manage entire lifecycle of warehouse projects, from planning to operational handover, within timelines and budget. Construction Oversight: Oversee construction of new Fulfillment Centers (FCs), renovations, capacity improvements, and infrastructure. Technical Oversight: Direct engineering design, building layouts, material specifications, and review budgets and schedules. Contract Management: Negotiate/manage contracts, and assess performance using KPIs. Reporting and Compliance: Prepare reports, define design requirements, ensure specification compliance, and track budgetsWarehouse Design and Optimization:
Layout and Systems Design: Design and optimize warehouse layouts, storage systems, material handling equipment, and workflows for 3PL operations.Technical and Analytical Proficiency:
Design and Analytical Tools: Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and analytical tools for process improvement and capacity planning.Cross-functional Coordination:
Collaborative Integration: Collaborate with logistics, procurement, client management, IT, and operations to integrate systems and meet client needs. Primary Interface: Facilitate communication between developers, contractors, and stakeholders.Regulatory Compliance:
Knowledge of Regulations: Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices.

This role will lead and coordinate schedule of multiple vendors at the same time, as well as interface at all levels of the organization.
Primary Responsibilities:
Coordinate initial architectural design and permit submittals as required. Develop initial construction schedules and sequences for phasing of construction if necessary. Creation of construction estimates for capital requests, and other planning efforts. Responsible for project management on new construction and additional capacity improvements within existing Fulfillment Center. Prepare reports, specifications, technical analysis to fully define the design requirements, equipment and services required on capacity expansion and remodel projects. Positive, clear, concise, and transparent cross team communication for all aspects of project delivery. Negotiate contracts and contract changes with developers and General Contractors, and present formal documentation for approval when required. Ensure that contracts are fit for purpose, cost effective, and incorporate appropriate Service Level Agreements. Provide overall site management, coordination, planning, specification of business proposals, and coordination of subcontractors. Ensure that contracted resources deliver work to meet duration and quality targets, addressing and ensuring the correction of under-performance issues. Audit contractors to check that the skills and competencies of contract labor are appropriate to need and they are fit to undertake the work on which they will be deployed. Inform developers and contractors of projected changes in resource or work demand so that they can take appropriate action. Assess project performance through Key Performance Indicators for safety, quality, cost, and schedule. Coach and guide all project teams (developers, design engineers, general contractors, sub-contractors, internal stakeholders) throughout the full project lifecycle. Identify and resolve clashes, design misses, and schedule conflicts with other Veyer execution teams. Comprehensive budget tracking, forecasting, and management of assigned expansion, remodel, and new build projects.Education and Experience:
Level of Formal Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Area of Study: Bachelor's degree or a related field of Industrial & Factory planning experience Minimum Years of Experience: 5 Type of Experience: Excellent project management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams Experience is defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics Experience in solution optimization, value engineering, best fit analysis (design and data), process development Ability to perform Process Capability Analysis, Time Studies, Line balancing. Experience in layout design in manufacturing and warehousing. Skills & Abilities: Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to generate high-quality, cost-effective solutions in very short periods of time Manage multiple projects and tasks while effectively influencing, negotiating, and communicating with internal and external business partners, contractors and vendors. Language Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Remote: While this position does not currently require relocation, candidates within a radius of our locations in Boca Raton, FL will be required to work in the office a minimum of two to three days a week. *The role will also require 50-75% travel
