Develop cost plans and estimates from concept through to detailed design including assessing local conditions and providing rate breakdowns (material, labor, plant, and productivity); 2. Deliver and present updated costs plans at appropriate design milestones; 3. Review proposed design changes/new technologies and prepare estimates within the appropriate accuracy levels; 4. Perform value engineering; 5. Prepare cash commit forecasts for the entire construction lifecycle; 6. Analyze labor markets and other cost drivers including unions and taxes; 7. Utilize Estimating and Building Information Modeling (BIM) Software; 8. Understand design stages and estimating levels 9. Provide recommendations on Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) cost implications for multiple design options; 10. Coordinate with stakeholders in the preparation of costs estimates and integrate stakeholder feedback; 11. Prepare and present monthly presentations for Clients; 12. Provide commercial input to design optioneering; 13. Identify cost solutions and develop procedures for best practices; 14. Perform benchmarking integration to ensure accurate data capture and usage of the latest market rate information. 15. Provide feasibility studies encompassing risks, opportunities, comparisons & basis of estimate to facilitate client decision-making _)_ 16.
