To learn more about CIBC, please visit CIBC.com (https://www.cibc.com/en/about-cibc.html) **What You’ll Be Doing** Treasury’s active responsibilities include: (i) liquidity and cash management and related settlement system risks; (ii) collateral management at the Bank of Canada, Federal Reserve and clearing corporations; (iii) sourcing and execution of cost efficient term funding of the Bank’s balance sheet within the constraints of liquidity, balance sheet, market and concentration limits; (iv) optimization of the capital structure within the constraints of regulatory requirements, flexibility and cost effectiveness to support strategic business plans; (v) the creation and maintenance of a transparent and effective funds transfer pricing model; (vi) development and implementation of a bank-wide balance sheet strategy aligned with the corporate strategy, including initiatives to drive balance sheet optimization (vii) measurement and management of balance sheet structural interest rate risk; (viii) management of regulatory, central bank, government, industry and investor relations related to capital instruments, financing vehicles and treasury related financial system risks. The Senior Consultant will provide insight and recommendations to all areas of the Liquidity Management function on the implementation and ongoing enhancement of the QRM platform. This will include coordinating required changes to existing QRM liquidity reports, development of requirements for additional QRM production reporting, development of analysis templates for non-production reporting, assistance to all QRM users on QRM functionality, and acting as liaison between Liquidity Management and Financial Shared Service Group. The team provides support to the Toronto team and to any other global users of QRM. The candidate will also provide strategic planning and solutions to support Liquidity Management on strategic initiatives and on-going projects including keeping up to date on all regulatory matters that may affect current or future state reports both in Canada and in the regions. Also, assist in the ongoing analysis of how day to day processes can be changed within the department to best utilize QRM and MST. _At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. Details on your work arrangement (proportion of on-site and remote work) will be discussed at the time of your interview._ **How You’ll Succeed** + **QRM Infrastructure** - Responsible for the design and development of reporting solutions for regulatory and management reports from QRM Risk Framework (RF) or Management Repository (MR) like Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR), Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR), Net Cumulative Cash Flow (NCCF), Liquidity Horizon (LH), Liquidity Stress Testing (LST) and Resolution Planning. Be the primary liaison for Treasury Data Management and Treasury Risk Management & Technology and lead coordination of workstreams and prioritization to ensure accurate and timely delivery of daily, weekly and monthly reports from QRM. Develop a solid understanding of QRM RF with an in-depth knowledge on its capability to provide the best in class design and solution for current and future reports need. Work with Treasury Asset Liability Management team (ALM) on the QRM infrastructure integration project for a single CIBC Treasury QRM setup. Support any ad hoc reporting inquiry and data analysis from partner teams. Also participate in control process review and testing from Compliance, Model Validation and Audit. + **Strategic Development** - Support the development of strategic direction and the overall implementation of processes/projects to support continuous improvement in liquidity analytics and monitoring, including establishment of technology requirements, reporting framework and documentation requirements. Support the development of strategic liquidity reporting in Toronto and US regions by providing solutions and recommending tactical approaches. Minimum of 5 years of Liquidity experience preferably in a development or reporting role. Experience and knowledge in CIBC retail and wholesale products.
