To learn more about CIBC, please visit CIBC.com (https://www.cibc.com/en/about-cibc.html) **What you’ll be doing** As a Sr. Consultant, Third Party Governance Office (TPGO), you will be responsible to support the Third Party Risk Assessment program to ensure there is a risk-based oversight/challenge of third party risks. You will represent the Third Party Risk Assessment team as the Subject Matter Expert for your specific portfolio by coordinating various program stakeholders to ensure the proper execution of third party risk assessments, ongoing monitoring activities, preparing program reporting, metrics to support program oversight and assessment of effectiveness, prior to contract execution. _At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote_ **How you’ll succeed** + **Business Enablement** - You will apply a customer first approach through effective consultation by regularly meet with your clients to respond to their inquiries, requests and provide training on the TPGO’s policies and procedures. This will be done in a professional high quality customer service oriented manner for your assigned portfolio to ensure client satisfaction. You will liaise and interact with control groups as part of the daily management of your portfolio to ensure risk assessments are completed in a timely manner. + **Governance & Oversight.** You will influence decision making processes with objective thinking and data analytics focused on risk identification, management and mitigation. Furthermore, you will provide recommendations to enhance and support standards and processes, and assist with consistent application, in alignment with our program participants. + **Business Acumen** - You understand procurement processes, and the risks of engaging third and fourth parties who support CIBC’s ambitions to help our clients, employees, communities and shareholders achieve theirs. **Who you are** + **You can demonstrate experience** in analyzing and understanding data.
