We are looking for a Senior Consultant to join our CEM Professional Services Practice in EMEA. This role involves leading implementations of OpenText Media Management solutions for EMEA-based customers. It combines strong technical skills with excellent business acumen, making it ideal for a seasoned technical consultant or a software developer looking to transition into a more client-facing role. As a Senior Consultant, you will:

 

Work directly with clients to translate their business requirements into practical technical solutions. Provide trusted guidance and knowledge to clients and internal teams. Design, document, and implement agreed solutions. Use project management and business judgment to manage risks and ensure client satisfaction. Contribute to product improvement by collaborating with Product Management, Engineering, and Support. Support the Sales team with technical expertise in pre-sales scenarios. Adapt quickly to business direction changes, including POC implementations and estimates.

What You Need to Succeed

 

Interpersonal Skills: Confidence, communication, and the ability to guide customers from technical personnel to C-level executives. Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

 

Technical Expertise:

  Extensive experience with Java/J2EE.   Proficiency with Java, Javascript, CMS frameworks, Web Servers, and Application Servers.   Experience with popular Java Stacks (Spring, Hibernate, XML Parsing) and Web Development Frameworks (Angular, React).   Strong understanding of Application Architecture and software development principles.   Experience with responsive design, web services, RESTful APIs, performance, and security in an enterprise context.   Proficiency with IT infrastructure, networking, and database layers (Oracle/SQL/PostgreSQL).   Mastery of Windows, Linux, and UNIX-based operating systems.   Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and Cloud service providers (AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure).

 

Qualifications:

  Bachelor of Science, Engineer’s degree, or equivalent.   Fluent in English and French, with excellent written and verbal communication.   Experience with Digital Asset Management products.

You will need to travel within EMEA as required and maintain a high level of customer focus and technical proficiency.
