Sr. Content Manager, CN event & content marketing

In 2017, we stood up a team in China to drive the awareness, activation, and continued success of China-based sellers advertising in marketplaces worldwide (North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific) via marketing channels, seller education, and business marketing. We are looking for an experienced, highly motivated, Sr. Content Manager to drive strategic event and content marketing programs for Amazon Ads China. The Sr. Content Manager will be accountable for content strategy and creation, with programmatic approach to serve the dynamic customer needs. This person will also work internally in a cross-functional manner, collaborating with teams across Amazon Ads to identify our audience needs and turning it into scalable marketing programs through suitable social content and channels. Lastly, the Sr. Content Manager will own testing and measurement, optimizing for what drives performance and reporting the impact of content marketing on the brand awareness to help business growth.

Key job responsibilities
- Content Strategy Development: Based on customer needs and understanding, design and execute a year-round customized content strategy to elevate Amazon ads brand visibility, educate audiences on product features, and drive brand engagement.
- Product-Centric Storytelling: Translate Amazon ads. products details into customer relatable, shareable narratives that resonate with target audiences and align with brand voice.
- CN Social Platform Content Creation: Produce high-quality content (e.g. posts, videos) optimized for public social channels (e.g., Red, Douyin, Blibli, Weibo) to boost products adoption and brand loyalty.
- Campaign Execution: Collaborate with cross-teams to develop integrated campaigns that highlight product Unique Selling Points and market differentiators.
- Trend Utilization: Monitor CN public social media trends, platform algorithms, 2B KOLs/Influencers and customer insights to adapt content strategies and media/KOLs metrics for maximum reach and impact.
- Performance Analytics: Track content performance metrics (touch points, engagement, exposure etc.) and refine strategies based on data-driven insights.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure all social facing content adheres to brand guidelines and maintains a unified tone across all channels.
