Job Description

 We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Senior Manager of Content and Creative Marketing to join our Visa Acceptance Solutions organization. This role involves leading the creation and execution of innovative content for our B2B campaigns, aimed at engaging our diverse audience, which includes banks, technology providers, enterprise merchants, small businesses and more. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in content creation, a strategic mindset, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. This role requires a creative executor who can deliver high-quality content that aligns with business objectives and drives engagement. 

As the Senior Manager of Content and Creative Marketing, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire content lifecycle, from ideation to publication and performance analysis. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including solutions marketing, campaign strategists, field marketers, designers, and external agencies, to produce a variety of content types such as webinars, webpages, landing pages, paid ads, blogs, guides, reports, emails, and videos. Your role will be crucial in expressing the voice and tone of our brand through engaging content. Bonus points if you’re a great writer and editor.  

What does your day to day look like? 

You’ll write and review briefs and make sure all objectives are captured, asking challenging questions to ensure the assets are focused on the campaign objectives 

As you build content, you will work with teams across the organization, gathering asset requirements, feedback, solution expertise, channel direction and more.  

You will come up with concepts for content, write drafts for assets, come up with creative ways to tell our stories through compelling content 

You will manage the production of the content, requesting feedback from the appropriate stakeholders, communicating with agencies and tracking the execution of all aspects of a content project. 

You will report on the success of content, in partnership with campaign and channel leads 

You will get your hands on webinar outlines and decks, video scripts and storyboards, blog text, and more.  

Responsibilities 

Ideate, produce, and track content across our marketing campaigns, starting from the briefing process to publishing and reporting. 

Responsible for developing comprehensive campaign content tailored for various stages of the customer journey, ensuring its effectiveness across multiple channels and use cases. 

Engage and collaborate with cross-functional participants disciplines (e.g., portfolio marketing, marketing operations, legal, agencies) to support content ideation, creation, activation, and measurement requirements. 

Serve as a key integrator, connecting teams and ensuring alignment between campaign and channel teams and acting as a strategic influencer, driving content conversations and facilitating change. 

Take initiative on projects that advance content strategies and mentor junior team members to support their professional growth. 

Assist with agency management, ensuring that deliverables meet the highest standards of quality and consistently strive for excellence. 

Manage meeting and resource schedules, workflows, and deadlines associated with content marketing activities. 

Collaborate with other functions to gather the information needed to optimize content asset creation, performance, and measurement. 

Collect, analyze, and report on content marketing success via standard content marketing–related KPIs, using data from web analytics tools, marketing automation platforms, social media management tools, content marketing software, and business intelligence platforms. 

Implement, support, and evangelize content marketing practices. 

Collaborate with marketing program owners, content strategists, and/or campaign managers to integrate and repurpose content marketing and campaign content where appropriate.  

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
-8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications
-9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or
more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters,
MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
-At least 8 years of professional experience in content strategy, production and
creation.
-Proven experience in content marketing within a highly-matrixed, global B2B
organization. Payments industry is a plus.
-Proficiency in project management tools such as Wrike, Trello, Monday, or
Asana.
-Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to review various types of
content and provide guidance and direction.
-Ability to collaborate effectively with other creatives and stakeholders and
communicate content rationale clearly and convincingly.
-Ability to translate complex technical concepts into assets that use human
language with simplicity and clarity.
-Understanding of content analytics, with the ability to track and report on the
success and failure of content.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 134,900.00 to 195,750.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
