Sr. Content Reviewer with Swedish, Amazon Ads

Our operations team is looking for highly motivated and talented candidates to participate in auditing/reviewing advertisements. The ideal candidate must demonstrate solid analytical & communication skills, attention to details and a commitment to excellence. In addition, the candidate must be proficient in written and verbal English & Swedish with strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills and should be flexible with working shifts (Morning, Afternoon, Evening and Holidays/Weekends). Key responsibilities: 1. Organic product Review • Review relevance between search query and organic products based on Content Guidelines. • Review content quality in websites, ad creative and videos based on Content Guidelines. • Check the relevance with quality and accuracy in detail. • Ability to work with data and evaluate trends/patterns. • Recommend generic pattern to be translated into rules. • Willingness to work with sensitive issues, including but not limited to those related with adult content, religious and philosophically issues. 2. Training & Coaching • Coordinating training & mentoring sessions • Periodical review of work of new hires (with guidance of Supervisor) and providing on-going feedback in the initial training phase. • Develop training material for the team and lead training and development for the team.   3. Maintaining Updates & Documentation and Monitoring workflow • Escalating questions/issues from the team regarding the process and cascading updates to the team. • Give support to the training team in maintaining Training documents, Wiki pages, SOPs & any other documents. • Preparing weekly process reports & sending these out to the different stakeholders. • Monitoring workflow and re-assignment in the team & handling shift-issues, daily standups, updates and escalations. Basic qualifications: • Bachelor degree and/or 6 months’ work experience. • Familiarity with Excel. • Fluency in English and Swedish language. Candidate should demonstrate language proficiency in all the following: verbal, writing, reading and comprehension. Preferred qualifications: • Good awareness of Swedish culture and current affairs in order to identify items that are likely to be controversial to customers. • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Access, Excel, Power Point and Word) to maintain reports and metrics. Specifically reporting tools such as Pivot Tables in Excel. • Web search skills and knowledge of Wikipedia. (Ability to search for reference in text in a timely manner). • Good data evaluation and mining skills. • Familiar with internet search tools. • Familiarity with online retail (e-commerce). • Willingness to work with sensitive issues, including but not limited to those related with adult content, religious and philosophically issues. • Ability to work in a diverse environment. • Other skills such as excellent listening skills, undivided attention, ability to multitask, critical thinking and proactiveness as well as capacity to be a team player. A day in the life The role of the Content Reviewer is specifically centered around the meticulous moderation of advertisements across various product categories within the Amazon Ads platform. The core objective of this team is the enforcement of Amazon's ad policies, ensuring that vendors seeking to promote their offerings comply with these guidelines. This crucial task serves to safeguard Amazon's customers from encountering shocking, inappropriate, or objectionable content while navigating the platform. Therefore, it implies the vast majority of the time is spent in content moderation. This activity is performed with different programs in which an employee will be trained according to their competencies. Policies and ways of working are constantly updated to maintain a continuous improvement, which means the content reviewer must be willing to keep learning and updated. Flexibility and constant re-learning via instructor based / self-paced learning tools are key abilities. Other activities would include individual or group improvement projects and development of new skills, as well as ticketing resolution with doubts from advertisers. About the team The Content Reviewer team operates within PRG14 facility located in Rustonka R1 building in Prague, or Virtual locales within Czech Republic. Commencing its operations in 2021, the moderation team has set forth ambitious expansion plans for the forthcoming years. We currently support operations for 8+ languages with workforce from 20+ nationalities. While content moderation is an individual-based job, teamwork is really important in this role. Daily meetings are held in which new policies or its changes and updates are communicated and the workload is distributed. The team presents a really cooperative spirit and works to reach common goals. You will find an inclusive and diverse team which advocates for the team-based problem solving. The communication is open and relaxed and workload is fairly distributed. Team buildings are often held and the atmosphere is respecting all individuals.
