Overview This Sr. Contracts Administrator position is a critical individual contributor role, reporting directly to the Division Contracts Director. In this role you will drive contract lifecycle excellence for moderate‑complexity programs—defining requirements, leading proposals, negotiating pricing/terms, and ensuring performance and compliance. This role is also responsible for order management activities and serves as the primary customer point of contact. Essential Functions + Administer specialized and major contracts: review POs, delivery schedules, pricing, and terms; ensure compliance with basic and long‑term agreements. + Develop compliant technical/commercial proposal packages; lead cross‑functional inputs for RFPs and prepare complex proposals. + Negotiate price, terms and conditions, delivery schedules, and business issues in alignment with company policy and legal requirements. + Monitor contract performance; manage amendments/extensions; identify and address out‑of‑scope changes. + Investigate and resolve claims/issues; coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, and other teams. + Support order management: limited order entry, schedule changes, customer portal management, PO/contract review, and S&OP demand planning. + Administer/export compliance training (as applicable) and ensure data/IP meets regulatory requirements. + Act as the primary customer contact; participate in presentations and regular communication. + Analyze data to recommend process/material improvements; share knowledge and mentor less experienced team members. Qualifications + Bachelor degree (required) in Business Administration or related field; contract management certification (NCMA/IACCM) preferred; JD or MBA acceptable. + 6+ years of progressive contract administration experience. + Strong knowledge of contract principles, industry practices, and regulations; government contracting experience a plus. + Export control training (ECTI) preferred. + Proficiency with standard business applications and specialized in‑house/customer systems. + Proven negotiation skills and ability to interpret policies/contracts and recommend procedural improvements. + Excellent communication and presentation skills with customers, regulators, and internal stakeholders.
