Compensation: $85-93/hourLocation: Houston, TX (Downtown)Duration: 12 months+Schedule: M-F / 40 hours+Benefits: Comprehensive insurance, 401(k) program, PTO & HolidaysTWIC Card is required Responsibilities Responsible for designing and installing process control systems and related projects Providing technical support for process control, instrumentation, and measurement technologies for projectsEngineering & design expertise for control system upgrades, Burner Management System upgrades, and shutdown system upgradesProviding guidance and support for process control project scope and estimatesParticipating in operational training as related to these systems Qualifications Engineering Degree with minimum 5 Years of ExperienceA minimum of 5 years experience on implementation of process control systems and I&E related functions for plant and pipeline facilities is requiredExpert knowledge of industry standards (NFPA-70E, NFPA-87, API-500, ISA & IEC) is requiredUnderstanding of basics and complex regulatory control & safety systems is requiredExtensive knowledge of electrical and instrumentation design including relay logicExpert knowledge of industry recognized safety system, burner management equipment, and implementation is requiredProficient in Engineering and Design of PLC Based Control systemsProficient in Motor Control Schematic wiring and functionalityProficient in generating Cable conduit schedule, cable tray & conduit routing designDetailed Knowledge of Honeywell C300 systems, Triconex CX, and Allen Bradley PLC’s is highly preferredMust be a self-starter and able to work both independently and with others in the organizationAbility to effectively communicate with all levels within the organization (operations and contractors), both verbally and in writingMust have the ability to perform light work, able to lift minimum of 20 pounds occasionally, be able to climb a ladder, and be able to reach overhead, stoop, bend and twist while working
