Crocs, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Copywriter, Brand. Responsibilities include managing the Brand Book, supporting brand campaigns, and working on various brand initiatives. The role requires creative expertise, understanding of diverse products, consumers, brands, and cultural trends. The copy will cover all marketing channels: Social, Paid, Print, Onsite, Video, Packaging, and more, considering global regions beyond North America.
The Sr. Copywriter, Brand will collaborate with key stakeholders: designers, art directors, the rest of the Creative team, global marketing, product, e-commerce, operations teams, marketing leadership, and external partners. They are expected to create engaging content to elevate the Crocs brand across all channels. This dynamic role involves teamwork, humility, and exceptional effort, focusing on highly anticipated and impactful campaigns. Reporting to the Director of Copy, this position offers an exciting opportunity in a rapidly evolving environment.
What You'll Do Maintain, support, and elevate global brand standards by ensuring that copy is consistent with brand standards and systems while continuing to push the boundaries. Write all copy required for the Crocs Brand Creative Team that sits in Global Marketing, including retail, wholesale, digital, social media, brand guides, product packaging, and more. Maintain consistency of the Crocs brand voice through all channels while also working with the Copy Director to refine and disperse clear brand guidelines to the global marketing org. Collaborate with designers, social media, marketing, Environmental/Social/Governance, and creative teams on brand work, concepts, and execution. Proofread and copy-edit all copy work related to your projects. Be proactive and anticipate details of a campaign and other projects assigned. Support creative teams on additional duties, such as brainstorming, and legal searches. Assist the mainline and partnership copywriters with miscellaneous projects as needed. What You'll Bring to the Table Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or any relevant Creative-field. Minimum of 5 years of direct-to-consumer product marketing copy; background in creative/advertising; fashion or footwear experience preferred; global experience and brand collaboration work a plus. Strong command of English language, grammar, and advertising writing styles, as well as a strong understanding of social media trends and colloquialisms. Comfortable writing short video / audio scripts and thinking conceptually about video ideas in partnership with the paid media and organic social teams. Experience in proofreading, copyediting a variety of business and marketing materials. Ability to multitask and complete projects in a timely manner. Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to quickly switch gears in order to keep up with feedback and changes is critical. Outstanding written, communication, and presentation skills. Portfolio demonstrates extraordinary creativity and thoughtful writing. Standout colleague with demonstrated ability to work effectively with multiple cross-functional groups and find the positive in all situations. Willing communicator and collaborator, bringing confidence but no ego. Maintain a professional and enthusiastic approach with the work and the team. Willing to accept and provide necessary critique and feedback. Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.
