We have a great opportunity for a Sr. Analyst, Corporate Development to join our dynamic team.

 

The Sr. Analyst will report to to the Director of Corporate Development and directly support the Corporate Development Team to help CDS achieve its inorganic growth goals. The qualified candidate will be responsible for supporting the deal team in managing pipeline development, financial analysis, due diligence, and integration plans on a variety of investment opportunities.

Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related fields required2-4+ years of professional experience in Corporate Development (M&A), Strategic Finance, Consulting, Operations, Investment Banking, or similar environment working as a data analyst or a financial analystProcess-oriented and highly organized, with excellent attention to detailStrong analytical and critical thinking skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities Primary responsibility of this role is to support the Corporate Development team across all phases of acquisition activity through financial analysis and modeling, valuation, due diligence, and integration activitiesParticipates in the creation and development of Corporate Development related documents and acquisition presentationsPreparing reports of findings, illustrating data graphically, and translating complex finding into written presentationsAnalyzing data on select demographics, customer needs, and market capacities for new schoolsAssist with coordination with outside legal counsel for all acquisition related documents such as NDAs, LOIs, and purchase agreementsSupports the management of the due diligence data room to ensure timely review of documentsMeasuring and analyzing post-close factors to assess successful transactions and to inform with future transactionsResearch activities to include target industries and sectors, geographies, and specific companies using primary and secondary source research methods
