**Job Description** This position supports and analyzes the production accounting function for all Richmond Beverage Solutions. The position reports to the site Controller, participate in and provide cost analysis, reporting, work order variances, inventories, monitoring and auditing processes. **Duties & Responsibilities:** + Ensures all appropriate data and reports are collected and verified to produce the monthly Federal Milk Market Analysis Report. + Provide analysis of product costs based upon formula and other relevant cost movers. + Manages pricing update processes, including monthly and quarterly price model updates. + Day-to-day resolution of pricing errors/deductions issues, pricing tracking and reporting. + Reviews and analyzes the costs of dairy commodities, other ingredients, packaging, and freight. + Manage product cost and margin forecasts. + Perform a variety of production data, work order analysis and shrink reports. + Takes lead role in all areas of monthly inventory valuation and analysis. + Primary resource for all new product costing and margin analysis. + Partners with plant management to drive performance thru data analysis. + Assist in development and continued maintenance of standard cost process and variable analysis. + Provide analytical support for maintaining and auditing BOM’s. + Performs monthly reconciliations for designated accounts, monitoring financials for discrepancies and trends. + Researches and resolves problems pertaining to accounting systems and records, ensuring compliance with Company policies and procedures. + Using a thorough understanding of GAAP principles and DFA Accounting Policies, interprets accounting transactions and implements best practices. **Requirements** **Education and Experience:** + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance + Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered + Minimum 5 years relevant experience required + Experience with ERP systems required **Required Skills:** + Proficiency in MS Platforms; Advanced Excel knowledge + JD Edwards experience preferred + Experience in Manufacturing/Food Based environment + Functional understanding of Dairy processes and Federal Milk Market Order system is a plus + Result driven, strives to exceed goals, and motivates self and others to achieve positive outcomes + Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment + Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail and organizational skills, while maintaining a high level of accuracy + Must be flexible, analytical, and adept at problem-solving + Ability to establish priorities, multitask, and consistently meet deadlines + Ability to collaborate with others and inspire teamwork + Excellent time management and organization skills + Maintain confidentiality + Effective verbal and written communication, as well as comprehension skills + Accountability for actions and decisions An Equal Opportunity Employer
