Salary Exempt (United States of America)The Sr. Credit Analyst is primarily responsible for assessing the creditworthiness of new and existing customers to determine the risk of extending credit. This role is responsible for identifying and analyzing potential credit risks using D&B and customer financial data, including industry-specific risks, market conditions, and economic factors. Also assists in determining appropriate credit limits for customers based on their financial strength and the company's risk tolerance.Models Altium’s Guiding Principles in everyday interactions with coworkers and internal and external customers.Safely completing all job duties in compliance with the company’s policies and proceduresProvides excellent customer service to both internal and external customers, ensuring that issues are resolved in a prompt and professional manner.Contributing to the development and implementation of credit policies and proceduresPreparing and presenting credit reports to management, providing updates on key risk areas, and communicating with other stakeholdersEnsuring compliance with credit regulations and internal policies, and assisting with audit requests as neededOther duties as assignedSkills and Qualifications
Strong financial analysis skills, including the ability to interpret financial statements, calculate ratios, and identify trendsA thorough understanding of credit risk, including the factors that influence creditworthiness and the tools used for risk assessmentExcellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with clients, management, and other stakeholdersThe ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal colleaguesStrong problem-solving and decision-making skills to resolve credit-related issues and make informed recommendationsA good understanding of the industry and market conditions that may impact a client's creditworthinessA solid understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and credit risk managementEducational Background:
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.Relevant professional certifications, such as CBA (Credit Business Associate), CBF (Credit Business Fellow), or CCE (Certified Credit Executive), or other relevant industry certificationAltium Packaging, Our Culture Differentiates Us!
