How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)
Delta’s
Integrated Operations Planning (IOP) team is responsible for alignment of
strategic plans across operations, development of key operational inputs into
the development of the airline schedule and designing cross-divisional
solutions to achieve operational goals. TechOps IOP - Sr. Data Analyst supports
team’s mission by delivering analytical insights and solutions.
+ Analyzes planning andhistorical performance data from a variety of sources
+ Develops meaningful KPIsto provide visibility to operations’ supply and demand outlook across timehorizons
+ Designs compellingcharts and slides that support the required knowledge for business decisions
+ Develops effectiverelationships with TechOps business units, OAP, and other planning divisions
+ Works withvisualization tools like Power BI to provide interactive dashboards essential forbusiness units to make decisions around their short-term and long-term planning
+ Performs ad-hocanalysis to pressure-test assumptions incorporated into resource planning
+ Is willing to learnnew tools and be able to adapt and excel them
+ Is able to handlemultiple analytical tasks with competing priorities
+ Has a team firstattitude with the success of our team, business partners, and the enterprise astheir top priority
+ Actions independentlywith limited management direction and know when to communicate status orescalate issues to their manager, teammates, or stakeholders
+ Enjoys working in ahigh-profile environment with fluid priorities, ambiguity, and aggressivedeadlines
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
+ 3+ years of relevant experience
+ Must be comfortableworking in group and individual settings.
+ Successful candidateswill have experience with some or all of the following: SQL, Python, SAS, R, PowerBI, Tableau, Excel, and PowerPoint.
+ Consistentlyprioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data
+ Embraces diversepeople, thinking, and styles
+ Possesses a highschool diploma, GED, or high school equivalency
+ Is at least 18 yearsof age and has authorization to work in the United States
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)
+ Bachelor’s degree in atechnical field
+ Has experiences inanalysis, information science, data visualization, or another relevantquantitative field preferred
