Team Description

This role sits within Sabre’s Lodging, Ground, and Sea Product Solutioning team, which plays a pivotal role in enhancing our product offerings across lodging, car rentals, and other travel-related services. The team works cross-functionally with Product Support and Operations, Product Management, and Account Management, ensuring our solutions deliver exceptional value to customers and supply partners. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with internal and external teams to drive innovation, improve content, and enhance the traveler experience.

Sabre is looking for a Data Analyst - focusing on improving operational excellence - whose key tasks will include researching, analyzing and monitoring LGS data sets to develop an understanding of current state and identify trends and opportunities to increase coverage and improve content to drive revenue.  Co-ordinate activities across multiple teams to improve the Lodging and Car product content, and track and share results to improve business performance.

Role and Responsibilities:

Data Analysis & Insights:Research, analyze, and monitor lodging system data from supply to demand, including properties, content, visual, geo, product availability, bookingsIdentify trends, gaps, and opportunities to improve marketplace offerings and operational performancePerformance Metrics & Dashboards:Design, implement, and maintain scalable KPIs and dashboards to track operational success and guide strategic decisionsEnsure data insights are actionable and aligned with business goalsStakeholder Collaboration:Work closely with Product, Technology, Operations and Account Management teams to implement process improvementsServe as a liaison between teams, coordinating activities to optimize content quality and availabilityStrategic Recommendations:Deliver insights through detailed reports, visualizations, and presentations that drive engagement and executionPartner with teams to ensure data quality, scalability, and integration across platformsIndustry Trends:Stay informed about emerging trends in the travel and lodging sectors, incorporating best practices into your work

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

Proven experience in data analytics, preferably within the travel, hospitality, or technology industryProficiency in SQL, BigQuery, data manipulation and other data analysis tools and methodologiesExperience with visualization tools such as Cognos, Looker, Power BI, or similar platformsStrong analytical skills with a focus on turning data into actionable insightsExcellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teamsExcellent self-organization skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize several projects in parallelFamiliarity with lodging operations and industry trends is a plusAttention to detail, curiosity and a passion for driving business value through data
