QualificationsMinimum Requirements:
Employer will accept a Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Information Technology or related field, and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a Sr Data Engineer-related occupation. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a Sr Data Engineer-related occupation.
Position requires 24 months of experience in the following:
Working with relevant stakeholders to identify user requirements and working independently to create/optimize solutions.Coding skills to support creation of a technical solution that can be deployed to users.Demonstrating knowledge of steps involved in the software development lifecycle.Interacting with users and converting that feedback into user requirements.Demonstrating proficient written and verbal communication skills.Writing technical documents that support the software development lifecycle.Demonstrating ability to verbally explain technical software concepts.Demonstrating high attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities.Demonstrating good documentation practices.Demonstrating knowledge of good coding practice and QC/QA experience within the software development process.Independently managing projects and move them to completion.Demonstrating project management skills in a data/software environment.Managing timelines for multiple concurrent data/software projects.Understanding of data models and applying them to existing data.Applying data models to real data.Designing processes and systems that manage a data lifecycle.
