Peloton Interactive, Inc. seeks Senior Data Platform Engineer in New York, NY:
Job Duties: Owner and subject matter expert on one or more workstreams under Data Platform
viz, including Change Data Capture, Data Compute Frameworks, Data Modeling, Schemas &
Serialization, Data Pipelining & Orchestration, Data Storage, Data Transport & Interoperability,
Developer Portal, Data Lake Standards, Data Access & Control. Write technical specifications
and efficient, high quality, well-tested code. Be an enabler and force multiplier to improve data
productivity by building out self-service data systems, services and tools. Work with
decentralized teams enabling them to create data pipelines and publish golden datasets.
Educate and promote best practices around data engineering on decentralized streamenabled
teams. Coach and mentor engineers across the engineering team to build a data culture.
Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Peloton offices may be required.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science,
Engineering (any field), or closely related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience
in job offered or in any occupation in a related field.
Special Skill Requirements: (1) Java, (2) Scala, (3) Python, (4) C++, (5) C, (6) MySQL, (7)
NoSQL, (8) PostgreSQL, (9) GraphQL, (10) Elastic Search. Any suitable combination of
education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Special Skills can be gained through
academic coursework, scholastic achievement, or professional experience. Telecommuting is
an option. Some travel to Peloton offices may be required.
Salary: $200,740.00 - $271,000.00 per annum.
