Sr. Data Product Manager

Job Overview: This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive strategy to create a unique customer identification system that enhances customer data accuracy, streamlines operations, and improves customer experience. This is a high-visibility project that will require collaboration across various departments, including Data,IT, Operations and Sales. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

 

Project Management: Lead the project from conception to implementation, establishing project goals, timelines, and milestones while ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders across departments to gather requirements, understand existing systems, and identify integration points for the new customer ID system. 

Research & Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to inform the design and functionalities of the unique customer ID system. 

Data Governance: Develop and implement data governance policies to ensure the accuracy, security, and compliance of customer data throughout the project lifecycle. 

Technology Assessment: Collaborate with IT and data management teams to evaluate and select technologies, tools, and platforms that will support the development of the customer ID system. 

Customer-Centric Focus: Ensure that the unique customer ID project is designed with the customer experience in mind, improving interactions and facilitating personalized service. 

Training & Support: Develop training materials and conduct sessions for staff on the new system and its implications for customer engagement and management. 

Monitoring & Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the unique customer ID system and report progress to executive leadership. 

Risk Management: Identify potential risks associated with the project and formulate strategies for mitigation. 

 

 

Qualifications: 

Hands on experience writing advanced SQL queries

Any experience using Infomatica MDM or IICS or IDQ would be an added advantage

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Data Management, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus. 

Proven experience in project management, particularly in IT or data-related projects, preferably within the insurance or financial services sectors. 

Strong understanding of customer data management principles and practices, with experience in building or transitioning into a unique customer identification system. 

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. 

Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall). 

Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven mindset. 

Experience with regulatory requirements related to data privacy and protection, particularly in the insurance industry.
