Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Data Programmer/Analyst (Financial Services) in the following locations: Princeton, NJ, Clifton, NJ, New York City, or Boston, MA. Responsibilities: * Create a comprehensive data map that illustrates how data flows and evolves over time, with a focus on financial market data processes * Utilize Collibra for data governance and perform analytics to establish data lineage * Identify gaps and inconsistencies in data and address them * Integrate data into Databricks with future roadmap in mind (ability to apply a generative AI layer to facilitate querying and insights) * Develop a "contextual story" for the data map, tying it to real-life examples * Work closely with the data team and interview stakeholders to understand connections and processes * Simplify and condense the data landscape, making it easier to pull data and answer strategic questions * Build a minimum viable product (MVP) to demonstrate value and expand from there * Collaborate with stakeholders to define use cases and develop a clear roadmap for future data initiatives * Eventually identify how this MVP can enable AI so stakeholders can start asking key questions once data gaps are identified
