This is a hybrid role, and teams are expected to be in office twice a week. In this role, you will contribute to the company’s productions sites by building, manage and maintain production Oracle databases for Planview’s products. your position will offer opportunities for wide-ranging impact and responsibility. What You'll Do Install, configure, upgrade, monitor, maintain and manage multiple database servers Perform database and application tuning Establish and maintain backup and recovery policies and procedures Perform code review and provide consultation to development teams Provide 24x7 support in an on call rotation with other staff members Setup and maintain documentation and standards Create, maintain and monitor DB Server replication Monitor and analyze performance issues Capacity planning for continuously growing databases What You'll Bring Requirements: Professional University degree in Information Technology or Engineering or other related field At least 5 years experience as both infrastructure and Application DBA version 19 and above. In depth knowledge with Performance tuning, Grid Control, analyzing and handling corruption, Backup & recovery, installations & configuration. Common knowledge in RAC, Data Guard and ASM. Manage, configure, and installing Oracle Enterprise Manager. Proven experience server side tuning and SQL tuning. Proven experience with Oracle backup methodology including RMAN / export. Proven experience in Linux OS ( Oracle Linux / Red hat ) Proven experience with in SQL statement tuning and PLSQL knowledge. Experience with bash /shell scripts Proven experience with Oracle in public clouds ( specially in AWS ) Advantage – Oracle AQ Personal skills: Excellent written and verbal English Must be a reliable team player and individual contributor with strong sense of accountability. willing to work occasionally in nonstandard working hours (nights or weekends) Self-driven, able to work under pressure Ability to manage, prioritize and solve problems quickly and completely Excellent problem solving and analytical skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work under pressure in escalated situations Ability to meet deadlines Benefits at Planview At Planview, you’ll join our global team and culture which reflects the vibrant communities in which our employees live and work.
