In addition to the requirements and patient care duties of a Dental Assistant, the incumbent will support all clinic operations, ensure proper flow of the patient schedule, oversee inventory management, appropriate ordering of supplies and maintenance of clinic equipment.The starting hourly range is $23.47 - $28.65 which includes a comprehensive benefits package.Qualifications:Required Education and Experience
1. Graduation from an accredited program in dental assisting and three (3) years of full-time experience as a dental assistant; or
2. Thirty (30) credits leading to a degree from an accredited dental hygienist program and three (3) years of full-time experience as a dental assistant; or
3. High school diploma or High School Equivalency diploma and the equivalent of four (4) years of full-time experience as a Dental Assistant.
NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
Preferred Qualifications
The preferred candidate should have a dental assistant certification, 1 year of dental assistant and/or hospital denistry experience. In addition, the preferred candidate should have experience with Eagle soft and experience with treating cancer patients.
