Role and Responsibilities•

Conceptualize and create design solutions to serve the needs of existing clients, new business relationships, and RFP submissions. Create business winning POP and store fixture concepts renders. Leading the design process from ideation to implementation, working either independently or collectively with the rest of the design team. Creating, leading, and guiding design of store fixtures and retail displays, including concepts, presentation material, graphics, and related elements. Managing, leading, and mentoring a small team of designers on creative designs, including concepts, prototypes, samples, and preproduction materials according to provided specifications and project requirements.• Review conceptual designs and inform the build process through sketches, detailing, and CAD drawings.• Leading and collaborating with team members in developing the best designs and solutions to ensure the design intent is maintained and evaluate the feasibility of concepts by considering practicality, budget, and production cost/methods• Work alongside the engineering, sales, and production teams throughout the project cycle to develop concept drawings into manufacturable designs.

Qualifications:•

College or University degree/diploma in Industrial Design 5-8 years Retail/ Store Fixture POP Design experience 2+ years of design leadership experience is preferred Strong proficiency in Solidworks, Keyshot, Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign) Strong technical understanding of various manufacturing processes and the ability to read and interpret technical documents such as design briefs, safety rules, and procedure manuals Solid understanding of sheet metal, board structure, plastic part, and millwork design practices. Strong conceptual thinking, including the ability to present ideas and concepts to others• Complete tasks within tight deadlines• Excellent communications skills both written and verbal• Well organized with excellent time management skills to complete tasks within tight deadlines• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in and lead a team of creative professionals
